"My son was rear-ended by an uninsured motorist and our claim was handled by Amanda. She was very communicative throughout the entire process. As soon as information was available, she relayed it. Even if that was all there was to this event, I would still leave her a raving review. Unfortunately, my husband, Michael, had to have an emergent appendectomy at the same time that my son's truck was deemed to be a total loss. She moved the communication over to me, and not only did she help us out in every possible way professionally, but she also went above and beyond to pray for us and see how we were doing just about every day. We had some issues with conflicting information regarding if my 18-year-old son could drive the rental car that was his replacement vehicle and she reached out to multiple people to get some clarification. I'm not really sure how this could have been handled any differently other than to have everything in my son's name so that he could have driven the rental car. When I was getting the run around about us wanting to retain the vehicle, I reached out to her and it seems like she went through the proper channels to make that happen. It really meant so much to us(especially me) that she was so genuine with all of her messages and at one point I even said, "I feel like Amanda is my new best friend". At a stressful time, from my husband being in the hospital for a week and me having to take care of everything, she certainly was the Godsend in all of this. We have been with State Farm for over 30 years and this is just another reason for us to continue to have you for our insurance needs. "I was in a car accident in October of last year and the Mike Lewis State Farm claims department walked me through the entire process. Amanda was particularly helpful and very supportive throughout the process by providing check-ins and updates regularly, she was available via text, email, and calls (which was very handy for me) she also took time out of her day to help explain things to me until I had a crystal clear understanding of what was going on and what the next steps were. The other claim’s team members that helped were Shereffa and Chelseah and they worked very hard to get the job done with a very abnormal claim situation. I was completely covered and paid little out of pocket in this total loss situation (30 day rental car coverage really saved me) I would have been way worse off if I had another kind of insurance.
