Before joining the insurance world, Ben spent 15 years as a general contractor - a path that led him to meet Mike during a kitchen renovation in 2015. That connection turned into a career, and Ben now uses his problem-solving mindset and people-first approach to find quick and easy options that blend insurance and financial services to help those we serve protect what matters most. Ben also played a key role in transforming the office’s new location from a previous home into the beautiful, thoughtfully designed workspace it is today. Outside of work, Ben and his wife have visited over 25 countries together, fueling his love for exploring new places and cultures.

Amanda Schmidt

Amanda is our wonderful claim Concierge here at Mike Lewis, State Farm. Amanda has been with Mike’s office for about (2) years now and in the customer service industry for over (15) years. She has loved getting to know all of you. Amanda shared, "Despite meeting under the most inconvenient of circumstances (having a claim), you all have been wonderful to work with & I have enjoyed supporting you throughout the claims process." A fun fact about Amanda – She and her husband have just welcomed their first sweet baby boy. They are thrilled to be able to welcome him into such a great State Farm Family. Outside of work Amanda enjoys volunteering in her local community, helping teach the children’s program at their church, hiking the many beautiful nature trails nearby, spending the day with her husband and their family at the lake, and loving on their fur babies – Winston and Nala Kitty. Amanda is continuing to pursue additional training opportunities where available to be able to better provide the highest level of customer care and advocacy focused on our central pledge – like a good neighbor, Mike Lewis State Farm Agency will be there!
